Went to see….

if the Sandpipers were back on the loch. Several pairs were, which was lovely. A bonus was I also saw the Black-throated diver fishing. However, just as good to see was the female Mallard and her eight ducklings!
A hot and sunny day again!
Found one Violet and lots of Wood Anemones in the field.
