Accidental or Not

Found the theme for this week’s Abstract Thursday really difficult.
How can you have an accidental shot if you are looking for one?
Nevertheless l broke a rule and took my camera out in the midday sun : we all know that is the time not to take photos of flowers.
Much better to take flower photographs in the more forgiving blue or golden hour.
So here are the burnt orange ranunculus looking all wrong.
No editing needed.

In other news l had my telephone consultation with the hospital. Now after nearly eight months of tests and scans on just about every organ and bone l am to have an operation on my parathyroid gland . Already have had thyroid disease for twenty five years but this is another gland that is causing me some problems . I need another specialised scan to find this gland that is not visible to the  naked eye. If the scan can’t find the gland it gets more complicated but let’s not go down that route at the moment . But a much better outcome than bone cancer which was the original suggestion.
Out in Ilkley tonight for a drink with a couple of my friends.
