Ouch, too bright
Of course the brightest day we’ve had in a long time and I can’t bear to look at it. This is the topmost branches of one of our beech trees, taken from the window - the leaves which have lasted all winter have now lost their colour and the new leaves are ready to appear.
Eye Op this morning and I’m now at home recovering. I was impressed with the efficiency yet kindliness of the whole experience. Nothing was too hard, just the lots of eye drops for different reasons. The procedure itself was over almost before it had started. I hardly felt a thing.
It’s just uncomfortable now, not exactly painful, but not right. I don’t like bright light yet, but the worst thing is an eye shield that makes wearing reading glasses very difficult. So, as I’m being looked after and don’t have to do anything, I’ve resorted to audio books and no sewing or knitting - not my style at all.
And in the list of things I have to avoid is gardening . . . such a shame!!
