In search of cowslips!

This afternoon, I went for a walk from Gunnerton. There are usually swathes of cowslips below the crags there. It was a lovely day and very peaceful (apart from a noisy great tit, who sang/shouted near me when I sat to enjoy the view).

I found one cowslip plant, so I must be too early. The primroses are lovely, but will probably be at their best in a few days time.

I met no one today. A farmer was busy with sheep in a far field and we waved.

David came and serviced the house alarm.

Fingers crossed that the good weather will extend into the Walking Festival (starts on Saturday)!
