Crimson Bottle Brush

A couple of errands in town this morning, the final one being to the Zip Yard in Great Western Road ….. it’s a wonderful wee shop where they repair clothing that needs a new zip.

As I ended up near the Botanic Gardens I went in for a coffee and a wander. The Kibble Palace had reopened sop but the seats were still out of commission. The first thing you see as you enter is the large fish pond bathed in sunlight and then as you move further in there are the plants and wonderful collection of ferns.

The Bottle Brush plant is the most eye catching because of the vivid red colour. I never seem to spot any bugs on bushes but it was hard to miss that enormous cockroach
