Our Altitude is So Gentle

…. at this time of year. The blossom is in full bloom and, if we are lucky and the “Ice Saints” don’t come back to haunt us, we shall have a bumper crop of fruits for the birds mainly. One of the old wild cherry trees broke in the winter storms but these ones have survived well. 

P.S. The Ice Saints take place from May 11, 2022 till May 15, 2022. The Ice Saints is a name given to St. Mamertus, St. Pancras, and St. Servatius in folklore of some Europe countries. The temperatures often drop below freezing then.
