The Blakeney Hotel

This afternoon I had afternoon tea with 4 friends at the Blakeney Hotel (as in the photo). I’d asked if we could have the Boat Room to ourselves due to Covid and they were happily to oblige. Very nice it was too. A gorgeous day in the sun, but quite chilly in the wind.

The motion in the Commons today was nodded through by MPs for the privileges committee to examine allegations that the PM misled the Commons when he denied lockdown rules were broken in Downing Street. 12 Tory MPs have called for Boris to resign immediately.
