Stromness

Today weeding and feeding Borders 1,2 and 3 was very much the thing to do.  Had calls / emails from our Hoy Kirk funders in Edinburgh.  Ditto from the reappointed Heritage Officer and spoke to potential building contractor who will hopefully carry out the work in the Kirk.  Kathleen texted to ask if we can go and get messages as she has Covid – CMC obliged. 
 
Thanks for all of the comments yesterday regarding Davie.  One bit of news I forgot was that he was happy because the much awaited electric wheelchair has arrived in Kirkwall for him, from Aberdeen.  He’s only had it for one day but he already senses a newer freedom.
