Day 4

A good day to continue the Cumbria Way, section 4, Keswick to Caldbeck (25km).  An interesting route around Latrigg,  Skiddaw House YH, along the River Caldew, a climb up to High Pike, then down to Caldbeck village.  The blip is the classic view of Skiddaw House amongst the old trees, looking slightly forbidding even in the sunshine, with doors tightly shut until 5 o'clock when travellers might be allowed inside.
