Everyone at Ervideira

After losing a week to sickness, fitting as much in as we can...

Morning cleaning, tidying, haircutting (thanks, Sam) and packing because we're doing a house exchange with friends in Vila Nova de Gaia (across the river from Porto), so can't just leave the house anyhow. Then walked into Mourão for tostas at Morango Bar (Sam hadn't been into town yet), and then to Reguengos for coffee and ice-cream, and fun at the fountain (see first extra. Sam did make it across without getting wet; Mike wasn't so lucky).

And then to Ervideira for yet another wine tasting; I did offer to do the tour myself! Impressed by the way they included the kids (giving them juice), and impressed with the kids' good behaviour as well. Also impressed by the way Duarte, the Count of Ervideira, came in at the end and started clearing the dishes, while his two employees were tasting a wine - no wonder everyone we've met likes working there. Two American ladies were on the tour with us, and offered to take the family photo in extras, hence my title.

Gratefuls:
- enough sun and wind to get two washes dry (on the line; we don't have a dryer); it continues to be quite cold for this time of year
- the two dogs amusing the kids at Ervideira
- our grapefruit tree covered in fragrant blossom
