Beauty vs concrete

Whilst waiting for my daughter to come out of dance class I sit and gaze up at these fields feeling a little sad.
They are the last bit of beautiful countryside and tranquility left in town and they want to build on it :(
I lived right next to these fields as a kid, my parents still live there now, and I have so many childhood memories and hours of fun in them.
I still enjoy a stroll through them now, with my own children showing them all my old dens and favourite spots and just enjoying the fantastic views. it extends right over the hill up to a little country church which we have used for several happy occasions.
They hold some very fond memories. I do hope they don't go through with it.
