Emergency Babysitting
Had an early message from DN1 saying she had a migraine starting and could I help out with Matty. I didn't have the car so initially said no, but DN2 came to the rescue and said she could drive us, so within 20 minutes we were on the road to Wokingham to collect Matty.
Poor DN1 was in a bad way and feeling really sad with her anxiety back. As if a migraine after tonsillitis wasn't enough.
DN2 was a complete trooper.... with Matty on her back and Jasper in the pram off we trotted around Dinton Pastures. We found a nice secluded spot for a picnic and a play and enjoyed a few hours in the glorious weather.
We then headed back to DN1 once she message to say she was feeling a bit better but still very sad. She was also feeling lonely and worried about getting back to work. We offered to stay until her BF got home from work. He'd only just got back to work.... a brand new job he started on 1st April but had Covid and holiday to Cornwall and then Noro virus last week....so he really couldn't leave today.
We stayed for dinner. The babies had a bath together and by the time we left, DN1 was feeling a bit better.
Here are the babies playing. Notice the mass of toys around them but they choose to play with my phone and credit cards!!!!!
