Somebody things it's spring.

Another walk in the Dales today on yet another blustery day, I measured a wind gust of 69mph (111kph)
The fells are very wet with all the melting snow and evidence of the recent winter conditions was very evident with a number of dead animals yet to be found by the farmers.
On a brighter note there was lots of evidence of wildlife with Red and Black grouse to be seen as well as Lapwing and Plover besides the usual LBJ's.
The local frogs had been busy as well, I hope they have not been to eager, this patch of spawn was found over 400 meters up the hillside.
