Ministry of Silly Walks (Gull Dept)

"Come on, Gerald. Follow me, rising up out of the water like a submarine with a beak... No-one will have a clue what we're up to. Then, we can slowly submerge again, and no-one will even know we'd been here at all." 

How silly is that?

I'm assuming it's some kind of little gull mating game. I've not tried it myself, but you know, if it works... earlier they were dive bombing the herring gulls, so it may simply be their hard man pose.
