A fleeting visit but it was great to see my daughter yesterday. She and a group of her friends turn 30 this year so they are going to Edinburgh for a weekend to celebrate. She flew up last night and then caught the train to Edinburgh with them this morning. They have known each other since nursery and mother and toddlers.
