Edge of the world
"I've been a busy rambling around this country. First, it was the wild, west coast. Crusty coal miners and drop out hippies rubbing shoulders at the end of the road. Listening to the moreporks at night. Thinking about the questions. Trying to live the answers. Running down deserted beaches at the low tide mark. Picking up hitchikers when I see them. Driftwood bonfires on the beach passing around bottles of wine. And hiking the Heaphy trail under the Nikua palms, like something out of a Dr. Seuss book."
