Sancton Hill Windfarm, East Riding of Yorkshire

These babies are just enormous. Sixty metres from ground to hub and the blades arc through a circle of eighty metres diameter.

They are on top of some of the most beautiful hills in Yorkshire - The Wolds. On a clear day from here you can see all three Ridings of Yorkshire, plus way off, the City Borough of York.
