The Poplars…..

An early start as usual this morning. Maisie and I went walking with three lads from next door and their cousin from Christchurch. We are half-way through the school holidays and in the middle of another long weekend. ANZAC Day is this coming Monday.
We walked downstream and back this morning. The two big Poplar trees have an archway of sorts between them. That dates back to active Pony Club days and was one of their jumps. A bit too close to the stream for my liking.
