A Lifting Experience!

We started a walk in Marbury Country Park and walked along the Trent and Mersey Canal almost to Acton Bridge and then back via the River Weaver. It was a leisurely and fairly flat 9 miles. 

On both legs we past the Anderton Boat Lift, which lifts narrowboats from one to the other - a height of 50 feet.
