Sore Rear
After six and a half hours sitting as part of an audience I spent eight hours today sitting and driving, Falmouth to Bristol Airport and return so as to drop Joshua and Tiana for their flights back up to Inverness. I never realised how tired I was until the return journey, I stopped a few times for a leg stretch and fresh air. I made a point of stopping in the lay-by so I could look up towards this small copse of trees. They are found on the A30 near Lifton and mark the border between Cornwall and Devon and are a familiar sight for anyone returning home to Cornwall. Known as Cookworthy Knapp, the clump of 140 beech trees have inspired many works of art over the years.
Home and a great reception from Paddy who was clearly put out that he had gone from five people in the house to one, Sam.
A microwave processed meal just about summed up the day, I loitered awaiting Mrs S to arrive in from her shift, we had a catch up before heading up at gone midnight.
I have another early start tomorrow.
