More replacements

Everything seems to need replacing in our sitting room. Window quote in and accepted, a few weeks ago the stove made a loud noise and the back plate fell off, so new one chosen today, they can’t fit until July they are so busy. Then we went to look at carpets as we thought once windows and stove done we would decorate and have a new carpet fitted. The lady listened to what we wanted, told us it was not a good idea and made some suggestions. We brought two samples home and as soon as we put them on the floor Hetty tried them out, she approved so the man is coming to measure next week.
Relaxing afternoon, walk, read and g&t. Cooked dinner and now going to watch series two of Russian Doll.
