Happy Easter – He is Risen!

Well, apparently Easter is tomorrow, in the Orthodox Church, at least.  My brother lives in Bulgaria and he told me this today.  This scene in our (Roman Catholic) church is looking a little jaded after a week because of the dying foliage, but I'm impressed with some of the model-making.  I'm less impressed with the roman soldier lounging like Rees-Mogg, albeit with a shield (why?).

In the Extra, one of my ingredients in my chilli con carne for supper this evening.  It's one of the few dishes that I know by heart, and Mrs B made the common mistake of allowing me to choose my ingredients –it's always different.  This smoked paprika is delicious, with the aroma providing exotic promise before you taste any dish.
