Sant Jordi...

...the day of books and roses here! We went to go look round the book market on the Vara de Rey, and to buy the kids some books and Susanna a rose... The market was fantastic, a mix of secondhand stalls and bookshops with discounted books... Loads of people out and about despite the crazy windiness. 
We collected Susanna and went up to the north the island as apparently thousands of bright blue jellyfish had been washed up onto one of the beaches (I'd seen on a few local news sources), however unfortunately they'd all been cleared, so no photo!! We enjoyed a windy beach hour and eventually had to concede it was no longer fun, so decided to take shelter in an ice-cream place in San Carlos. 
The blip is unfortunately an EB...the rose was from Danny!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Nate starting blip - he's wanted to for ages...he's Nate_Rafa.
2) Blue sky and sunshine despite the cold wind.
3) The joy of new books - Asha got Harry Potter in Catalan and the Famous Five in Spanish...I'm planning on nicking the Famous Five one!! I was obsessed with that series as a kid...
