The secret is out!! Yippieeee!!

We went to the kennels of 'Pets en Transit' the international company for moving your pets between countries, because........ Diefenbaker was released by the State Vet yesterday afternoon! :-)

What a great day for us! But with quite a share of sadness! Unfortunately, they had to hand Vlooi's documentation over to us, because we paid for her as well, for the whole exercise, although she passed away in Lusaka, Zambia, on Monday morning, just two days before thy were to fly out to South Africa!

But we are só grateful that Diefenbaker is here and he is in a great condition and beautiful as ever!! The whole thing was very traumatic for him, because of his blindness! He was very insecure, didn't know where he was and what was going on, but as soon as he smelt us and recognised our voices, he was over the moon!

R jnr sat with him, in the back of the twin cab. Fortunately we have a canopy, because it rained cats and dogs (hahaha) all the way back to Hartbeespoort, but they were fine! Once at home, he ran about for hours on end, to sniff his new home!

Just note his pure joy when he realised it was C, his beloved madam, stroking him here!

It was the inauguration of SA's newly elected State President as well today, but we had something much more important happening in our lives!! hahaha
