Wild Is The Wind, Calm Is The Night

Such a windy wild day today, getting blown about on the way to work this morning and almost losing my hat on a few occassions.
So it was a surprise to see any sign of the sun today, never mind watching it set on an amazingly calm night.
If we lived our lives by the weather that each day throws at us we would be paralysed to do or plan anything and would be prone to just lock ourselves away and hope and pray that the next day will bring something better.
We would become shadows of ourselves.

So we should all embrace whatever's thrown at us.
Take a walk in the rain, shout at the howling wind and maybe just get that chance, once in a while to bask in the sun.

Tonight's reading material is 'THE GLAMOUR CHASE - THE MAVERICK LIFE OF BILLY MACKENZIE".

And my listening pleasure is THE TWILIGHT SAD with their album 'FOURTEEN AUTUMNS AND FIFTEEN WINTERS'. A very apt titled album for these long autumn and winter filled days we find ourselves living through at the moment.

But when the weather does change it shall be like the music blaring out my speakers at the moment, like the unique voice of Billy Mckenzie and like that sun setting in the night sky.......,Glorious!
