We arranged to meet Ed and Katie today. Clive used to work with Ed and they recently moved to the area. I've never met them before but we got on well and will go out with them again.

Their dog is a Spanish water dog (I think) called Daisy.  Katie seemed a very anxious owner. A bit too much worrying IMO.

Of the 4 of us, I am the only one who hasn't had covid recently. Clive still tires quickly but Katie really struggled with all the up hill stretches and became quite wheezy.  She's usually fairly active.

Lily, the next door pup, and Hetty's usual playmate, caught and killed a massive rat this afternoon.
