Exhausted Brimstone

It was a good day for butterflies along the old disused railway line - 6 Peacocks, 3 Small Tortoiseshells, a Comma and this Brimstone. It was blowing a gale along the old cutting and I watched this Brimstone battling away, then dropping into a thick clump of grass and bramble to get some respite from the fierce wind. It didn't even bother when I parted the grass to get a photograph.
