SLIPPERY WHEN WET

Except it wasn't today, just grey and cold. However, this side of the Breakwater was a bit more sheltered from the really chilly wind from the sea. I know there was some sunshine this morning, but we'd missed it by the time we got out and most people were still wrapped up in padded jackets, hats and scarves.

It would have been my darling Dad's 94th birthday today. I thought a lot about him, and badly missed being able to phone Mum and remember him with her. Extra is the photo we put on the back of Mum's order of service, taken in Spain about 20 years ago.
