Bells On Sunday
We got up early and were in the Panshanger Park bluebell wood not long after seven for the morning light. Even though the adjacent housing development has burgeoned, it was quiet and so beautiful to be in the haze of blue on my own with my dog.
We spotted yellow archangel amongst the bluebells on our way to the Dragonfly Trail where I heard and photographed a Cetti's warbler. Ollie dog kept running ahead of me, I knew why. She had remembered the Dog Dip, even though we haven't been here for ages. She had a lovely paddle in the River Mimram with a Labrador GSD cross and a trio of Dalmatians.
There is now a £2.50 parking charge but I didn't have to pay as I was there before 8:30. :)
