Back Home

Today we took the opportunity to travel up to Wigan to watch the Warriors play live against Salford in the super league . It was the 1st time for just over 2 years  that we have seen them play at home the last time was just before lockdown . This shot was taken as Wigan received the ball from the kick off . We quickly took the lead  but then soon gave it away  before Salford drew level and then took the lead , Thankfully we then drew level and then took a bitt of a lead to go in at halftime  24 - 12 up. The 2nd half didn't start well as Salford scored and we then spent a lot of time on the backfoot before Salford drew level again. With only a couple of minutes to go the game looked to be going to golden point when Jai Field received the ball and scored a length of the field try to give Wigan a fine victory 30 - 24 
A great day out was had and well worth the journey . Back home to watch Hull V Catalan a game we recorded which clashed with the journey home .
Chilling now with a spot of catch up TV  a single bottle of beer that I found in the fridge
