Sunset Over The IJsselmeer

One of the advantages of working on a ship is the view when the sun sets.
Here a view, as seen from our clipper Hoge Wier, towards Durgerdam, a small village north of Amsterdam at the waterside of the IJsselmeer.
If you look carefully you can see on the righthand side the fortress island Pampus.
On the lefthand side you can spot a sailing boat. That is our sister ship, lemsteraak Le 196, also called the "Grote Jager". Our queen has the same type of ship, called the "Groene Draeck".
