Chill Sunday

Leisurely walk with the dogs this morning. At 13.5 years young, Lili struggles with long walks …… they both enjoy sniffing EVERY blade of grass or lamppost etc so it takes a while just to go round a short block.

Visit to a garden centre just before lunch. It has a lovely restaurant, so took the opportunity of stopping for lunch.

Back home - potted my azalea (Rosa), just coming into bud, using specialised azalea compost, planted a standard ceanothus into one of our beds and hang the new hanging basket for the front of the house in place.

Hubby mowed the lawn, then washed both our cars. He was feeling tired from his 22 mike bike ride this morning - he’s been finding his cycling a lot harder, aching more after the cycles. He thinks it’s because he doesn’t go out during the week, so a morning week cycle may be on the cards.

After the garden, I started watching a Netflix series - Stay Close - looks good (James Nesbit, Jo Joyner). - think it’s only 6 or 8 episodes. I had a couple of leg warmers to keep me company (see extra).
