Bog Garden
A back blip because the computer had a paddy yesterday evening and closed down on me.
We went to Melton Mowbray to visit Tresillian House which was open for the National Garden Scheme but really because we wanted to speak to Harry who was exhibiting there for his company.
We sorted out plants for him to bring and an assurance that he will upgrade the slope for the amphibians to crawl out. Basil tends to destroy it.
Then we went for tea, sharing a ploughman's lunch. Len ate the pork pie, the quiche and the bread. I avoided the Branston's Pickle which is not gluten free. Was able to tell the lady in charge of the kitchen that she should avoid Oxo and Bisto as stock cubes for the same reason. Knorr is alright.
I had gluten free chocolate fudge cake to finish, Len had choc orange roll.
As well as the koi pond and the nature pond, Harry had already refurbished this bog garden with plants.
