The diary is getting full

A quick blip this evening of my diary which is full of "to do" lists before our Canadian trip.
We are sitting in semi darkness with very low power. The lights, inside and out are flickering..the village looks like a Christmas tree!!
We have been advised to switch off all appliances, so once again my planned supper won't happen....sandwiches, and yogurt for dessert is tonight's menu!!
Another day in Africa!!
Covid is rearing its ugly head again. I know several people who have it, the latest being my neighbor who has been feeling really ill.
A good evening to read my book....
