The first showing of my favourite flowers

These irises are always first to flower. They came from my niece Clare's garden many years ago. They have spread very well. They are followed by about four other different types around the garden and colours in the coming weeks. I love them all.

It started to rain just as I arrived to go walking with Clare this afternoon so we stayed at her house and had a good chat! I feel a bit guilty but it was cold and a bit miserable!
