Campsite Domestic

Woke up to clouds and a little rain - the first day on the continent that hasn’t been full on sunshine. Great timing actually as we had nothing planned given it was a payroll Monday and so had to spend time completing that most of the morning. It was actually rather pleasant not having to go anywhere and apart from a short walk to the fish pond on the other side of the site and a drink in the well provisioned bar, it remained only for a very tasty Madras curry with lamb and cauliflower plus naan bread we found at Albert Heijn - candle light courtesy of the wonderful L who also does many of the necessary but unglamorous chores that make this trip run smoothly and often has to do with washing things, keeping things clean and generally making life smooth and enjoyable. This picture shows the ‘luxury’ private accommodation we are enjoying here in Rijnsburg. Tomorrow it’s off on the bikes again - forecast is for more sun - let’s hope that’s accurate.
