This image of a drain cover is actually from yesterday's excursion to The Breakfast Club Deco Diner.  I've never seen anything like it on Boston's sidewalks, so specific and so artistic for such a utilitarian item as a drain cover.  The crisp detail rendered by an uncoated lens made in 1938 never ceases to amaze me.
