Needs must!

Robins of course prefer to feed on the ground or at least stand on a flat surface, but I have noticed a few in our garden who will try the clinging method used by tits and other birds.  This little robin was determined to have some of the tasty fat ball and spent some time working at it.  I've put up a trio of pictures as his antics were fascinating to watch.  Taken through glass some 30-40 feet away and the shade of a tree, so I've given it a poster treatment to make the images stand out a little more.
