Warley Water Tower
This is a local landmark if you live on the South West side of Birmingham. I lived the first two years of my life with my mommy and daddy at my grandparents house in Warley and although I didn't know it at the time, this could be seen from their house. As I grew up, I became more aware of the Towere which was built in about 1937 presumably to support supplies to the houses being built in the area pre war. I believed for a very long time that it was full of water...
The extra was taken just over the road from the Water Tower, on the edge of the golf course - a stray white bell amongst the blue bells.
