Tulips- ‘Avignon Parrot’

A collection of tulips which I bought from Sarah Raven are now flowering. They are very pretty colours but are very droopy!  It is interesting that the picture in the catalogue I ordered from also showed the narcissus which were in the collection with two types of tulips but….my  narcissi in this pot flowered several weeks ago! 

Today I spent more time tidying up my garden, weeding between the paving stones,  getting rid of pots of forget me not and trimming old fern fronds as the new fronds are just unfurling. The hostas are now looking good too, let’s hope I can keep the slugs away from them.
