My 366 Days

Black(and white)bird

This female blackbird has been living in our garden for about the last 3 years. Today I finally had the opportunity to get a photo of it. It's a little hazy because it was taken through glass and the windows need cleaning! This mutation is apparently called "leucism" and is quite common in blackbirds. I have seen a totally white one, but that was in England many years ago.

Another busy day today, but not long until the end of term, then we get 2 weeks off. Yay!
