Spinning area!

Today we went to the Toby for lunch with B and another friend .  It is a wonderful old building with lots of interesting bits and pieces like the above.  Bolton was a cotton spinning town hence the reels.

The building used to be known as the Watermillock before Toby took over.  The building being very old used to have tunnels leading from it to the gatehouse and possibly to the neighbouring Hall i’th wood house.  I’ve been searching the internet for information but to no avail!   I did find this about ghosts!
