In between yoga and more co-grandparenting I finalised plans for the Glasgow Ramblers  first dog friendly walk. This has been a long haul and not  without some resistance, however the Ramblers Scotland office team are very enthusiastic and  keen to get some publicity in the expectation that dog friendly walks will reach out to a new audience.
Islay dog will feature in the marketing and my daughter in law sent me this photograph (which she subsequently painted) of Islay beside the Gruinard River, notwithstanding that the first walk will be in Linn Park minus Islay. I am hopeful that it will lead to an exciting media career for her.
