Rice

Having finished K's Easter egg on Sunday, Django was ill yesterday morning, so has only had a bowl of rice since then. Whenever we eat he sits with the hope of being fed, and tonight we felt it was safe to put him back on his normal food. 

Earlier I'd had my chance to be the pedantic exam editor for seven masters papers. Unfortunately, when the setters, checkers and external examiner are non-native speakers, eventually someone has to fine tune the grammar and style, particularly as most of our students are also non-native speakers!

At the end of the day there was more exciting news about potential sponsors of our project: one has come back to me, and someone else says that our proposal may be put in front of a famous US billionaire philanthropist in the next few days! Since there's little I can do to influence events, it's very apt to compare it with a roller-coaster ride!
