A walk in the woods

Today I had a checkup at the dentist, all good no work required.  A little bit of shopping for some holidays clothes, followed by a walk in the woods. Ii was horrified to see the devastation caused by the storms earlier in the year.   There was a wide line of damaged through the woods, see extras. The gate said please close the gate, made me laugh as the is no fence either side.see extra. On a good point there was lovely sun coming through the trees onto the flowers , main picture of Alkium, and extras include squirrel and bluebells.
