Full on

Busy day, starting with a teams call sat in the car and then non stop from there on. Couple of in person meetings in the morning and others online, then walked down to Holyrood for one of our in person planning meetings. So nice to see everyone together again and some interesting discussion including of possible future space/estate options.
We ended with some cakes and fizz to say goodbye to 3 people leaving the committee and it was good to have that informal chat that we’ve so missed over the last couple of years.
Walked home and Deaconess Gardens was rivalling the Meadows with its show of blossom…so lovely this time of year around town to have these pink and white heavy blooms bursting out in so many gardens, parks and streets.
A made pasta supper whilst I FaceTimed V about our upcoming weekend treat, long delayed as one of her retirement presents from A&T. Tomorrow A&N are going to see a house in Haddington and are very excited about it, chatting about their hopes and plans as we ate, so I hope their hopes don’t get dashed.
Afterwards I spent the evening catching up on email as I’m drowning in it at the moment, but pleased I made progress and A watched a film - Jellyfish - which was very good and powerfully acted.
