Massacre

A lovely morning in the office in which we were joined by one of our sixth form students who needed a place to hang out and work for the morning. The most exciting part of the morning was Becci’s news that she’s going to be adopting a dog called Ned. Well, at the start of the morning it was a mere possibility but I think Ellie and I had convinced her by the end of the day. We are hoping, really, that Ned will become an office dog. I created some beetroot stamps this morning as a trial run for a session on Thursday. Very therapeutic, incidentally, but left a scene not unlike a massacre.

I joined Ellie at school this afternoon after our college group. They’re a lively bunch and I felt the need to lie in a darkened room for a little while afterwards. I didn’t, of course, because today was the first week back of Run Club, yey! So good to be back, although, after the pilates, my abs may disagree in the morning. A long weekend on the horizon so plenty of chat about which hills we can run up. I’m grateful that my days of pounding the pavements on my own seem to have given way to hills with friends.
