Rainy Day in the Gardens

Bit soggy around the gills today, but being a rural type there's no way I'm going to complain about precipitation, oh no.

Hpx and I had a chat at work about Blips before she headed out to get her stunner of a blip whilst it was chucking it down outside the office. Instead, in my - er - wisdom, I plumped for a shooting opportunity in the Botanic Gardens en-route home.

Stupido! Nice weather for ducks? Nah. Not according to the miserable looking ones in the park. After aborting a long exposure by the water lillies (raindrops and cokin filters do not mix) I decided to take this shot of my old mate the sequioa giganteum, looking down this time, rather than up, for obvious reasons...
