Whitethroat?!

The little brown birds are out in force again! Spotted this chap on Canvey this morning as we went for a quick wander round the nature reserve after some shopping, and think it's  a whitethroat!

We had gone there to try and see the Nightingale which has been there a while now - we heard him but didn't see him! So annoying but hopefully one day i'll get to take a photo! Very cloudy today but the reserve was full of birdsong which was lovely to hear! Also full of dog poo though too.... grrrrrrrr!

Much quieter day today  - had to go for a walk this afternoon to the local post office to pick up a parcel which was more birthday pressies for me so that was rather lovely!
