Conwy
We’ve had a lovely day. First we went to Conwy and walked all along the walls from the spur at the harbour, through the town to the castle. We went back down to the harbour and I visited the Smallest House in Great Britain.
Then very excitingly we met up with my mum’s cousin V and his wife C, who live in Upper Colwyn Bay. I haven’t seen them since 2006, which is shameful. But they haven’t changed much- a bit physically worse for wear as you’d expect into your 80s, but so wonderfully sharp and interesting. We went back to their house and admired their stunning garden, overlooking Conwy and the mountains. We’ve promised to visit again soon.
We’ve decided supper tonight is going to be fish and chips on the beach at Dinas. Could be the perfect end to a marvellous day.
